§ 17-3. Same—Commencement of terms of commissioners.

The terms of the commissioners shall have commenced on the effective date of the ordinance from which this section is derived.

Editor's note— A resolution adopted Dec. 16, 1993, provided as follows:

"Be it resolved, that members of all Boards, Committees, Commissions, Agencies, etc. appointed by Police Jury [parish council] are recalled and removed, to be reappointed by Parish Government within 90 days after January 3, 1994 unless a Board, Committee, Commission, Agency, etc. is abolished by the new home rule form of government or by the Parish Governing Authority."
