Chapter 17. PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT

§ 17-2. Same—Subdivision jurisdiction.

The Ascension Parish Council does hereby adopt, ratify, confirm and continue in effect the subdivision ordinance adopted by the Ascension Parish Regional Planning Commission on January 21, 1971, and any subdivision regulations adopted by the parish governing authority, as amended, and does charge the Ascension Parish Planning and Zoning Commission with the responsibility of administering the subdivision ordinance as provided in Louisiana Revised Statute, Section 33:101, et seq., and the rules adopted by the parish governing authority. The Ascension Parish Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby further charged with the duties of the Zoning Commission as provided for in La. R.S. 33:4780.40, et seq., and specifically the powers and duties contained in La. R.S. 33:4780.45.
